Ann Forno
October 25, 1929 ~ February 16, 2016 (age 86) 86 Years Old
Ann Forno, age 86 of Wilmington, passed away at her home on Tuesday, February 16, 2016.
She was born in Kennett Square, PA, daughter of the late Nazareno and Angeline (DiGiacomo) Daddezio.
Ann was a faith-filled woman and a founding member of St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church. She was a loving mother and doting grandmother, never missing an opportunity to support her grandchildren in all of their endeavors.
Ann is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Edward Forno; her children, Steve (Linda) of Wilmington and Michelle Beale (Michael) of Newark; and her beloved grandchildren, Alyssa & Nick Forno and Morgan Gordon (Billy) & Mitch Beale.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her five siblings, Maurice "Mutt" & Nazareno "Punk" Daddezio, Mary Pedicone, Christine Borelli, and Angie Mozzani.
The family wishes to thank the TCU at CCHS, Heartland Hospice, and Melanie Jones for their compassion and care.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30am on Saturday, February 20, 2016 at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 2503 Centerville Road, Wilmington, DE 19808, where family and friends may visit from 9:15am – 10:15am. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery.
